What will you do if you were given a chance to design your very own sneakers/shoes? Ok, don’t already start jumping with joy at the thought of it and listen carefully. Oh, read carefully. The Keds shoes have always been known to adopt innovative measures to please their customers. Back in 1917 nobody would have thought of making canvas shoes with rubble soles that would make absolutely no noise on walking. (Keds shoes don’t make noise when a person wearing them walks slowly and steadily). But it was made possible and thus Keds shoes were brought into existence. They pioneered an entirely new range of shoes known as sneakers because it was very easy to sneak around as the shoes did not make any noise.

These shoes survived the scourge of the two world wars and the Great Depression of 1929 and are still going very strong. Through they had seen a setback in the 80s on account of the emergence of other brands of shoes, but their popularity was revived midway through the first decade of new millennium and after that there has been no looking back. In 2005, the Keds shoes had launched its Classic collection comprising designs and styles from early 1920s and 1930s when the concept of sneakers was gaining ground in the company and abroad.

The Pro Keds range of shoes have been welcomed and adopted heartily by the basketball players for whom it was designed. The shoes were a huge success and soon on popular demand pro keds for other sports were also designed. There were shoes for tennis, track and field, baseball and many other games. Thus a new avenue of sales and popularity opened for the pioneers of sneakers in the country.

Soon women\’s pro and pro champion hit the market as well and like all other Keds shoes they were embraced with joy and excitement by those for whom they had been designed customarily. The kids were in love with their Keds champions and some of them refused to part with their even while sleeping. The women were no less for they very confidently had flaunted their Women\’s Keds while walking up and down the street. These great pair of sneakers could be paired with just about anything: snug pair of jeans, skirts, shorts or even jumpers. Men find it easier to step in and out of their sneakers than any other shoes. They almost wished for something like this to be inculcated into the corporate culture.

The sneakers have become popular throughout the world. They have great style and design and provide utmost comfort to the feet while walking.
